Rihanna can sure pick 'em! On February 8, 2009 Rihanna got repeatedly punched in the face and choked out by her then boyfriend Chris Brown after Rihanna had the audacity to ask him the name of the woman he was texting. So you would think the next man that she gives her heart to would be patient, kind, understanding, a believer of open communication and mutual respect, right? Um, wrong. Rihanna has been dating LA Dodgers star Matt Kemp for the past month or so. The two were seem in Cabo San Lucas earlier this month aboard a rental yacht. The relationship has been going well so far. Matt has yet to punch her repeatedly, bite her on the ear, or choke her to the point of losing consciousness. Emphasis on yet. Since she salvaged her career by pretending she is a "strong woman" who doesn't let men hit her, she can how slump back into her old habits. Yahoo! News report:
Rihanna, 21, is currently dating LA Dodgers star Matt Kemp, and an ex-girlfriend of his, actress Felisha Terrell, 30, has revealed his violent past and claims that she took a restraining order out against him in June 2008.Damn, really? She seem to be working her way up to dating Mike Tyson. When in your last relationship you got beat like a Gosselin kid when it's time for the camera battery to recharge, one would think the next guy you date wouldn't have a restraining order out against him for stalked his ex-girlfriend. An unnamed friend of Rihanna's told Star:
"He is violent and I am afraid. He repeatedly made me scared and gets in my face. He is threatening to take all the items I purchased and try to destroy my property," the Mirror quoted her as saying. "He brings his friends driving up and down the street to try and intimidate me. I am very fearful. He has other people calling me and stalking me" she added.
Terrell had in her application for the restraining order claimed that Matt was "kicked out of a club for fighting with a woman - I am afraid his behaviour will turn towards me since we are no longer dating".
"You’d think after what she went through with Chris, RiRi would be extra careful about learning the background of any man she gets close to. It’s almost as if she has a dark side of her own — an attraction to bad boys."This sounds like a problem that will solve itself in time. Where Chris Brown failed, Matt Kemp just might succeed. Honestly, this seems like no big deal. Rihanna has nothing to worry about at all. Just have Matt's dinner ready at 6:00 PM on the dot and don't speak unless spoken to and everything should be fine. You know, obvious stuff women should know. Anyway, I have to agree with Rihanna's no name friend because it does seem chicks who date abusive guys tend to be attracted to bad boys that just might slap them across the face. There is a clear case of codependency between many abusers and the abuse in a lot of relationships. Rihanna probably so fucked up in the head she need her men to hit her in the face to get off and her douchebag boyfriends are probably so impotent the only thing they can do to a woman is beat the shit out of her.
